Have you every felt a tingling, numbness or weakness traveling from the lower back through the buttocks down the back of the leg. This may be indication of sciatica. The feeling of numbness or weakness can be associated with many things, thus it is recommended to check with your doctor if you are feeling severe pain. Sciatica occurs when the sciatic nerve is compressed. There are several condition that cause the pain.

The pain associated with sciatica can be described as (1) pain on one side of the rear, (2) burning or tingling down the leg, (3) the pain is worse when sited, (4) difficult to stand up or walk. Be aware of the signals your body indicate. The quicker you can determine where the pain is coming from the faster you can work on sciatica relief.
